- You will then start to see creamy fats rising to the top. Use a slotted spoon to remove these fats and place them in a clean, airtight container.
- It’s important to let the cream rest in the fridge for a day or so to let it set, then your cream will be ready to use.

How to Make Whipped Cream with Milk
(Please note this whipped cream will not behave exactly as regular whipped cream in some recipes, but it’s a rather good substitute in a pinch!)
You'll need:
- 60ml cold Little Big Dairy Co Full Cream Milk
- 1 sachet (or 2 teaspoons) gelatine powder
- 240ml cold Little Big Dairy Co Full Cream Milk
- 2 tablespoons icing sugar
Steps:
- Mix 60ml milk with the gelatine. Leave to rest for a few minutes until it becomes spongy.
- Heat the spongy mix until it turns into a liquid. Set aside until cool.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 240ml milk with the cool gelatine mix, then place in the fridge until thickened (20 minutes).
- Remove from the fridge and add the icing sugar, whisking until it becomes thick and fluffy, doubling in size.
And that’s it! Store in an airtight container in the fridge, and use within 2 days.
